Neighbors And Neighbors Association (NANA) was founded in 1995 to establish a cooperative working relationship among small grocery stores.

NANA also runs the Mom and Pop Program. NANA proposes to set up a MLK Liberty City Credit Union that will be located within the Model City/Liberty City area. The Credit Union will serve NANA’s membership and the residents of Miami-Dade County by erecting a financial/lending institution that will provide various banking related services for small businesses as well as other economic development opportunities. The proposed building was formerly a Bar and Liquor hotspot. NANA’s goal is to develop this community eyesore into a financial institution that will serve and meet the needs of those who reside in the Model city/Liberty City NRSA as well as our NANA membership businesses who are located County-wide. NANA conducted its own needs assessment by distributing several local Survey Questionnaires; all of which revealed strong Community support for our Credit Union.
